Swing states are proving to be the crucial determinants for the upcoming elections with Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania all being in favor of Obama. With Obama's double digit lead in Ohio and Pennsylvania, Florida is the most achievable state for Romney although he still trails Obama 53% to 44%, according to CBS News. More people are becoming attracted to Obama's plan which is also helping his chances with Florida. Two in three Florida likely voters support the DREAM Act policies put in place
by Obama to allow young illegal immigrants who came to the country as
children to obtain work permits and not face deportation. With Obama's plan appealing to more women, white people, and senior citizens, it makes sense that his current poll standings in Florida are much higher than Romney's.
